The Colors of Cancer presented by House of Legends and The Powerhouse Collective

A Fashion Show with a purpose.

As Geordy Heron writes above, models from The Powerhouse Collective model agency presented outfits styled in the colour of a cancer ribbon of their choosing, to remember but also to celebrate.

DJ Tiny Alpha provided the music and the audience was also invited to participate by dressing in a colour of a ribbon that would bring awareness to a cancer that has affected them in some way.

On a personal note, I was disappointed to miss it due to RL commitments. In a Relay community team that is mostly club and music based, this event stands out as unique alongside our other events this season. Well done to everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it, donated via the official American Cancer Society Kiosks and supported our fight against cancer. 💜

The event raised an astonishing L$15,247, USD$60.98 in such a short time.

To bring that alive, as an example, you raised enough to help 2 people facing breast cancer, connect with trained volunteers through the Reach To Recovery® program.

Our next Team ES fundraising event in the calendar is Techno vs Trance at Electro Space on Saturday 29th April, for fun, for Relay! Who wins, your donations decide!

We are an electronic music community team that come together for the RFL season to raise money to help the fight against cancer. Club Owners, Managers, DJs, Hosts, Sponsors, we raise money just doing what we love every day.

The key to fundraising success is togetherness, a community pulling together as one in the fight against cancer. We see this year after year with Relay for Life teams so be part of something and make a difference; it matters.
